Can I use salonMonster even if I don't want my clients to book their own appointments

Yes, click on settings then on services offered, select "edit" beside any of the appointment types you do not want clients to be able to book themselves
From there you can turn off the online booking function for that appointment type by unchecking the box that says "client bookable", and then clicking on the "Save" button at the bottom of the Web page

Do I need to download software onto my computer

No, salonMonster is used through a Web browser like Internet Explorer or Firefox, so no software is necessary

Which operating system is salonMonster compatible with

It works on any operating system because it is a Web application and can be used on any Internet-connected computer

How am I billed for salonMonster

We use PayPal to bill you. However, you do not need to have a PayPal account as we can bill your credit card directly. You are billed the predetermined amount monthly, based on the package you choose

How is my information hosted

We use an environmentally conscious hosting company call Rackforce

Do I need a website to use online appointment scheduling

No. If you do not have a website, we can set up a simple, clean webite for you as well as host it for a nominal fee

Can I access salonMonster from my mobile phone

You can access it from any smartphone with a Web browser, and soon we will have a mobile specific website set up

Does salonMonster have POS (point-of-sale) functionality

Not yet, but we have plans to integrate this in the future

Which Web browser should I use

Clients can book their appointments with any browser, staff can use any browser except Internet Explorer.
